We got the chance to see Body World's at The Leonardo Museum. It was soooo interesting.
You are not allowed to take pictures of the exhibits there. So, that was kind of a bummer. Not necessarily that I would want pictures of my kids posing next to dead people....
Either way, the kids were interested in the displays. They spent the most time looking at the lungs of smokers. They also liked the dancer and the hockey player that were shown.
Josh was observant and notices that the girls did not have penises which resulted in a most uncomfortable biology lesson. I'm all for giving them 'the chat' and being open and honest, just not in a public place as other kids walked around. Eek.
Upstairs in the museum are some science displays. The kids were blessed to be able to see some demonstrations.
There is also a giant marble track upstairs. The boys had a fun time making a pathway and problem solving.
Josh making a parachute to travel in the wind tunnel.
Ava building circuits.
My mom was able to join us on this fieldtrip. Thanks God for the awesome day and the memories my kids will have of her.
